We support customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, delivering tailored engineering services that drive long-term success.Position SummaryNeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Technician to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise across the East Cork-based site.This role is responsible for keeping site equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This position involves carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance, resolving mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all work meets GMP and EHS requirements. The successful candidate will work independently on technical tasks, contribute to improvement initiatives, and maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine and preventive maintenance activities in line with the site's CMMS schedule.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, using technical drawings, diagnostic tools, manuals, and standard test equipment.Repair or replace faulty mechanical and electrical components as required.Maintain accurate records of all work performed, ensuring updates are logged correctly in the CMMS.Support operational teams by providing general maintenance cover across production areas.Follow all site procedures, safety requirements, and GMP standards during maintenance work.Identify areas where equipment performance or reliability could be improved and provide input into improvement initiatives.Respond rapidly to equipment issues to minimise downtime and support safe, compliant operations.Experience & SkillsRequiredTrade qualification, relevant experience, diploma, or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.2-3 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.Good communication and documentation skills.Understanding of GMP, EHS expectations, and maintenance best practices.DesiredExperience working with production or process equipment.Familiarity with Maximo or similar maintenance management systems.Exposure to reliability or continuous improvement initiatives.Broad maintenance experience across utilities, instrumentation, or related areas.CharacteristicsWe look for candidates whoWork well as part of a team.Have excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.Can complete tasks independently, capable of self-learning.Can prioritise and coordinate work.Have excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Can multitask and work well under pressure.What's on OfferCompetitive hourly rate based on experiencePaid overtime available, depending on project demandsFlexible working hours may be accommodated in line with project requirementsOpportunity to work on a high-profile pharma site with a collaborative, technically strong teamChance to be part of NeoDyne's network of engineering professionals, contributing to impactful automation solutions in the life sciences sectorNeoDyne Ltd is an equal opportunity employer, and all applications will be treated in strictest confidence.LI-JC1
