Your primary responsibility will be the set- up of calibration, and troubleshooting of a wide range of instruments, including temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, level, balance, pH and conductivity analysers, dimensional and measurement equipment, and various other instrumentationResponsibilities:Perform scheduled calibrations according to client and LotusWorks procedures for facilities and process calibrationRespond to and assist production in the event of faulty or unscheduled equipment that has failed or is out of specification to ensure production requirements are metInteract professionally with client area owners and all client staff to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance activities are completed in a compliant and efficient manner.Plan equipment downtime when necessary for on-line calibrations or vendor availabilityAdhere to calibration discrepancy procedures and follow up on calibrated items that have been escalated as discrepanciesFollow all procedures related to overdue/quarantined equipment to ensure compliance from a calibration department perspectiveFollow decommissioning procedures and follow up on items that cannot be fixedProvide suggestions for continuous improvement in processes and calibration activitiesAssist in audits and investigations as requiredMaintain organized and controlled documentation in compliance with GAMP and FDA regulations.Maintain organized and controlled documentation in compliance with GAMP and FDA regulations.Collaborate with team members to facilitate calibration activities.Update Calibration Management software as necessary – CMMSEnsure training is up to date.Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.Skills Required:Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation.Experience with Maximo would be an advantage.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work successfully within a team while also demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.Proficiency in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Education / Licenses / Certifications:Level 6 Diploma or Level 7 Degree qualification in Instrumentation Calibration or Electrical OR Fetac level 6 trade qualification in Instrumentation or E&IProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicableBenefits:VHI Healthcare CoverLife AssurancePension ContributionTraining And Educational AssistanceAnnual GP Check-UpExtra Annual LeaveHealthcare ScreeningRecognition RewardsLI-DNPLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
