JA1338 - Full Time/Part-Time Instructors
Location – Ballygawley, Co Tyrone
Type – Full or Part-time
Salary - £12- £15/hour DOE
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for both part-time and full-time Instructors to join our clients adventure business. The successful Instructors will be responsible for leading our activities whilst ensuring the safety of customers, ensuring the centre is kept to a high standard and working as part of the team to ensure all customers have a fantastic experience.
While no formal qualifications are necessary, they would be advantageous. Full Training in all activities will be given.
Key Responsibilities:
* Instructing visitors on the safe use of equipment and vehicles
* Preparation of equipment and areas for instruction
* Preparation of team room, vehicles, and other equipment for use by visitors
* Checking and maintaining equipment with high regard for safety
* Cleaning up equipment and vehicles after groups have left
* Entertaining customers and ensuring they have an excellent experience
* Moving quickly from one activity to another in accordance with fluctuating timetables
* Other ADHOC duties as required
Primary Activities:
* 4 x 4 Off Road Driving
* Off Road Truck Run
* Clay Pigeon Shooting
* Rifle Range Shooting
* Archery
* High Ropes
* Climbing Wall
* Paintball
Hours of Work:
* Full-time hours – 35-hour week including weekends (By negotiation and timetabled)
* Part-time hours - primarily weekends
* Seasonally-based work – increased hours available during Christmas event, summer break etc.
Essential Criteria:
* An outgoing and confident personality
* High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Attention to detail
* Proven time-keeping ability
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in tutoring
* Experience of outdoor activities
* Driving Licence
Additional:
* While no formal qualifications are necessary, they would be advantageous. Full Training in all activities will be given.
