Cost Manager
We are seeking a professional with experience in cost and project management to join our team as an intermediate Quantity Surveyor.
This role will involve providing Cost & Contract Management services within a busy team, supporting and growing the quantity surveying practice.
* Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contract and governance arrangements.
* Maintain quality assurance and overall integrity of projects.
* Manage own projects or assist directors in cost and contract management.
* Pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
* Report financial and construction milestones to directors.
* Staff mentoring.
* Assist with preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* At least 5 years of post-college experience working within a consultancy.
* Chartered or working towards Chartership status (MSCSI/MRICS).
* Strong MS Office skills and Cubit software proficiency.
* Electronic measurement skills.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience delivering projects and managing multiple projects concurrently.
* Solid technical appreciation regarding construction documents/methodologies.
* Excellent professional presentation and communication.
