Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is a four-star property set on 130 acres of parkland. The hotel is a historic Victorian house with a rich heritage dating back to 1833.
Responsibilities
* To prepare meal ingredients, including washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and fruits
* Daily preparation of fresh sandwiches and soups
* To set up for lunch and dinner according to the Chef de Partie's instructions
* To ensure that food from own station is delivered on time
* To perform basic cleaning duties and ensure workstations are sanitised according to HACCP regulations
Requirements
* Previous experience as a kitchen assistant/commis chef and/or suitable qualification
* Knowledge of food health and safety regulations
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification or current student of Culinary Arts
* Passion and genuine interest in food
* Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Good command of the English language
