Marketing Operations Manager Role
We are seeking an accomplished Marketing Operations Manager to oversee marketing efforts across multiple hospitality venues in Galway.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective marketing plans aligned with each venue's commercial objectives.
2. Lead event planning, promotion, and execution – encompassing live entertainment, food-focused promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
3. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure timely, practical, and results-driven marketing activities.
4. Maintain and enhance digital channels, including social media, email marketing, websites, and advertising campaigns.
5. Evaluate and maintain each venue's visual identity and tone of voice for brand consistency while preserving individuality.
6. Foster partnerships with local organizations, promoters, and media to boost visibility and foot traffic.
7. Analyze performance data, generate reports, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
8. Lead a small in-house marketing team, setting direction, providing mentorship, and promoting professional growth.
9. Coordinate with external designers, photographers, and digital specialists.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in a senior marketing role within hospitality, events, or related sectors.
* Demonstrated track record in creating, marketing, and managing events that attract a public audience.
* In-depth understanding of how hospitality brands connect with customers in person, online, and locally.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, brief others effectively, and present ideas to stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of digital tools, including Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, email platforms, and basic website CMS systems.
* Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and competing priorities.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of the Galway hospitality scene.
* Experience launching new venues or repositioning existing brands.
* Skills in content creation, such as photography, design (Canva or Adobe), or video editing.
