Key responsibilities as Retail Department Manager Inspire and mentor your department team to reach and surpass sales targets while delivering operational excellence
Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards, crafting an inviting and high-impact store presentation.
Monitor sales performance, pinpoint growth opportunities, and pivot strategies to maximise results.
Work closely with head office and buying teams to balance stock levels, manage margins, and curate relevant product categories
Provide ongoing training and support to your team, ensuring they possess the confidence and skills to excel.
Champion product knowledge and service excellence to drive conversion rates and enhance the customer experience.
Skills and Qualities essential for this Retail Department Manager role At least three years of management experience in fashion, non-food, or grocery retail-demonstrating adaptability across different retail environments
A strong and motivating leader, skilled in guiding large teams and delivering consistent performance outcomes
Excellent commercial awareness, strong visual merchandising capabilities, and customer-focused service delivery
Track record of leading teams to not only meet but exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
