Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
* Use of AutoCAD 2-D & Solid Edge 3-D drawing package to create general arrangement and fabrication drawings and any other miscellaneous drawings required.
* Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate drafts
* Providing support to Production, Sales, Purchasing and other Departments.
Job Environment
The Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and also working alongside a Senior Design Engineer. This is an opportunity to establish a career in mechanical and manufacturing engineering within a rapidly expanding company.
Education & Experience
* One to two years' experience of AutoCad 2-D & Solid Edge 3-D
* Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or a related field
* Excellent computer literacy skills. Our ERP System will be used daily.
* Work well under pressure and deal effectively with customers and suppliers.
* Able to multi-task between several priorities simultaneously.
* Good problem-solving skills
* Work overtime if necessary, to maintain our production schedule and solve critical issues our customers may have.
* Ability to work with all departments at Patterson Pump Ireland.
