We are currently looking for a Waste Operative to join our team in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 08.00-16.30 & Friday: 08.00-15.30
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Loading of curtain siders and containers by use of Forklift
* Servicing hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection points throughout the client site
* Emptying hazardous waste bins
* Filling and operating the general waste compactor
* Filling and operating the Dry Mixed Recyclable Compactor and baling cardboard, plastic, and paper waste streams
* Completing all relevant paperwork related to non-hazardous waste, other administrative duties
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in environmental or waste management is desirable but not essential
* Awareness of health and safety best practices related to cleaning procedures
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
* Forklift training is a distinct advantage
