Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist In Geriatric Oncology \ \ At St James's Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of physiotherapy in geriatric oncology. We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. \ \ The role involves providing physiotherapy services to patients with cancer, with a focus on addressing their complex physical and emotional needs throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal recovery and well-being. \ \ Key Responsibilities: \ \ 1. Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients with cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. \ 2. Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient. \ 3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimize patient outcomes. \ 4. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to physiotherapy services. \ 5. Participate in education and training programs to maintain current knowledge and skills in physiotherapy and oncology. \ 6. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care and treatment plans. \ 7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to patient care and confidentiality. \ 8. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery. \ 9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote open and respectful dialogue. \ 10. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. \ 11. Other duties as assigned by the Manager Physiotherapy. \ 12.
