Job Description

The National Lottery is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join our dynamic and customer-focused team.


About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to develop and execute internal communication strategies that engage employees and increase internal awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal or corporate communications, with experience developing and executing internal communication campaigns.

* Develop and Execute Internal Communication Strategies: Plan, implement, and evaluate communication plans aligned with the company's mission, values, and objectives.
* Content Creation and Management: Create clear, engaging, and consistent content for internal channels such as newsletters, intranet, emails, videos, and announcements.
* Support Change and Transformation Initiatives: Communicate change effectively by crafting messages that support new initiatives, ensuring employee understanding of purpose, benefits, and impact.
* Enhance Employee Engagement and Feedback Loops: Promote two-way communication through surveys, town halls, and feedback mechanisms, and respond to insights.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with HR leadership and senior management to ensure aligned, timely, and tailored messages for internal audiences.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* 2-5 years of experience in internal or corporate communications or employee engagement.
* Proven experience developing and executing internal communication strategies and campaigns.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
* Ability to write and edit high-quality content across various formats and channels.
* Familiarity with IT tools such as MS Suite, Hubspot, Mailchimp, and Canva.
* Experience supporting change communications, leadership messaging, or internal events.
* Understanding of employee engagement principles and how to measure communication impact (e.g., surveys, analytics).
