OverviewFinancial Reporting Manager role at SEIThe Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for running one of the Financial Reporting teams, including the overall preparation and review of the annual audited financial statements and interim (semi-annual, quarterly) processes for investment funds and companies across various domiciles, jurisdictions, and financial reporting standards. This role also coordinates the client/fund audit process and oversees regulatory filings in Ireland and other jurisdictions. Responsibilities include training new employees and ensuring premier client service standards within deadlines and according to best practices. Maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors and internal relationship managers.What you’ll doManage one of SEI’s financial reporting teams, handling financial statement preparation, regulatory filing and compliance functions, including periodic regulatory filings in local and international fund jurisdictions.Serve as the main operational contact for a range of clients; maintain strong working relationships with external clients, auditors and internal business units.Ensure financial reporting procedures and controls are followed accurately and promptly; review procedures annually to maximize efficiency and ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external requirements.Ensure team knowledge and skills meet client expectations; provide training, on-the-job coaching/mentoring, and cross-training to enable premier client service.Motivate and manage the performance and development of team members to deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.Review and approve all work performed by team members.Maintain a central library of finalised financial statements, supporting workings, and up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and accounting standards; apply new regulations accurately and roll out knowledge through training sessions.Perform duties under the Company’s Safety Statement to ensure health, safety, and wellbeing for all employees under responsibility; participate in ad hoc projects as required.What you bring to the tableProfessional Accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA).7+ years’ funds experience within a financial reporting team or audit of fund clients in an audit firm.Understanding of diverse fund structures and jurisdictions.Extensive technical experience across IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102 and Luxembourg GAAP.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of accounting systems including Investran and Geneva.Attributes we valueProven track record as a people manager.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Solution-focused with strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines.Initiative and ownership of responsibilities.Benefits you can expectHealthcare for you, your spouse, and dependents up to 18 years old; Pension Scheme; Tax Saver Travel Benefits; Bike to Work Scheme; On-site Gym and fitness offerings; Education Assistance; competitive leave entitlements including 2 paid volunteer days per year; Life Assurance; Employee Share Participation Scheme.Hybrid working model and flexible hours.SEI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a healthy work-life balance, offering private medical care, educational assistance, and other benefits to support employees.Additional detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance
