We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to our innovative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your new role will involve developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with vendor service-level agreements (SLAs). You will also be responsible for ensuring spare parts availability to support continuous, reliable site operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules
* Ensuring spare parts availability
* Assisting in the registration of equipment and instrumentation within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* SUPPORTING FATs, project walkdowns, commissioning processes, and documentation handovers
* Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for facility operations
* Assisting in the validation and qualification of equipment, with a particular focus on HVAC and Process Air systems
* Monitoring engineering metrics, reporting results and driving action plans for performance improvement
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to listen actively and integrate diverse technical perspectives
* Confident decision-maker, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
