We have immediate vacancies for motivated Site Engineers to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assist the project team in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring compliance with the contract requirements, and all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
* Levelling and setting out of the works, utilising total station, GPS or equivalent.
* Record keeping of site activities, including diary, allocation sheets, outputs, photographs, as-built surveys etc.
* Assist with managing the site safety file, including method statements, risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks etc.
* Quality control, testing and material submissions.
* Assist with temporary works coordination and traffic management.
* Labour/subcontractor coordination and management.
* Develop commercial awareness under quantity surveyor's guidance.
* Assist with programme management (MS Project), progress reports, technical queries, and registers.
* Liaise in a professional manner with all project stakeholders to include client, consultants, regulatory bodies, utility companies and the general public etc.
Requirements:
* Primary degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent professional qualification.
* Relevant main contractor experience.
* Organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Broad knowledge and experience of relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations, contract documents, and works methodologies.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
* Ambition, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
