It features a welcoming central plaza in the heart of Sheikh Zayed, situated on the 26th of July corridor, connecting Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October, and central Cairo.
Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan, a 178-room new build, is part of Phase II of Arkan Plaza. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Grand Egyptian Museum and 15 minutes from the Great Pyramids of Giza. It is close to Cairo International Airport and just 10 kilometers from Sphinx International Airport. The hotel offers business and leisure travelers three meeting rooms, a business center, an outdoor pool, and a Club Lounge.
We are currently seeking a Steward to join our team at Crowne Plaza West Cairo – Arkan.
Your day-to-day:
1. Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk-in fridges, kitchen utensils, corridors, and holding areas, as well as operational equipment.
2. Wash dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen vessels.
3. Sweep and mop floors; clean and detail equipment.
4. Collaborate closely with all kitchen and service colleagues.
5. Perform stewarding tasks as instructed.
6. Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
7. Ensure safety for oneself and others in the workplace; report hazards, near misses, and injuries immediately.
8. Participate in training and health, safety, and environmental activities as required.
9. Handle and use resources, facilities, and tools safely and appropriately.
10. Use equipment in compliance with guidelines, avoiding interference or misuse.
What we need from you:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. A friendly, polite, and courteous demeanor.
3. Two years of experience in a similar role in a 4- or 5-star hotel is preferred.
