The below job description is designed to give an appreciation of the main functions of the role of H&S Assistant / Administrator in ABP Bandon. It is not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive. JOB PURPOSE: To provide general assistance and support to the Health and Safety Manager of ABP Bandon, ensuring safe practice at all times on our ABP site. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Health & Safety Manager in all administrative activities Weekly report preparation Document maintenance Accident reporting Induction training Manual handling training (following certification) Occupational first aid (following certification) Contractor register Replying to general office enquiries Assist in safety audits and audit reporting. Minute / note taking as required at meetings, conference calls and video conferencing. Liaise with the other ABP Bandon departments to collect required data for use in reports.
