Specialist Trained General Practitioner
to join a highly regarded, traditional family practice located on the
Beara Peninsula in West Cork
, along Ireland's world-famous
Wild Atlantic Way

This long-established practice serves a diverse mix of
local residents, seafarers, and visiting tourists
. The role is ideally suited to a
vocationally trained Family Medicine Specialist
seeking a rewarding position in a supportive rural community while enjoying an exceptional lifestyle in one of Ireland's most scenic coastal regions.
About the Practice
* Mixed
GMS and private
patient base
* Team includes: 1 full-time GP, 1 part-time GP, 2 Practice Nurses, 3 Medical Secretaries, and a Practice Manager
* Fully computerised practice using the
Socrates
management system
* Excellent administrative, nursing, and management support
* No weekends or out-of-hours commitment
required
* 5 weeks annual leave
* Free on-site parking

Requirements
* Specialist-trained General Practitioner
(MICGP, MRCGP (UK), or equivalent)
* Registered (or eligible for registration) with the
Irish Medical Council (IMC)
* Specialist Division in General Practice - this is an essential requirement
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Strong understanding of IMC and HSE standards, guidelines and regulations
* Recent, relevant experience in family medicine / general practice
* Demonstrated
interest in men's health - this is ESSENTIAL
