Job Title: Field IT Solutions Specialist
As a Field IT Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to clients across the region. This role involves providing on-site and remote assistance with hardware, software, and networking equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and configure end-user hardware and software.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, firewall settings, and antivirus systems.
* Manage small-scale projects independently and collaborate with senior engineers on larger deployments.
* Configure and maintain servers, firewalls, VPNs, and backup systems.
* Support Microsoft 365 environments, including email management and file permissions.
* Document client networks, configurations, and system changes accurately.
* Participate in pre-project planning and client briefings to ensure clear scope and expectations.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in IT or Computer Science.
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in an IT support or field service engineering role.
* Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments, networking principles, firewall configuration, wireless technologies, data backup, recovery, and antivirus systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
* Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
