Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as the Head of Client Asset Oversight (PCF45) in their Dublin office. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the operational effectiveness of client asset systems and controls in compliance with regulatory requirements, while taking on a key leadership position in a dynamic and rapidly evolving financial services environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Oversight: Appointed (subject to regulatory approval) as the Head of Client Asset Oversight (PCF45) under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Regime, with assigned responsibilities under the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR).Client Asset Oversight: Oversee the firm’s compliance with client asset requirements, ensuring operational effectiveness and the management of systems designed to meet CBI CAR.Leadership: Lead the Client Asset Oversight team, developing an annual work plan and quality assurance program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Risk Committee and the Ireland Compliance, Risk, and Oversight Committee, ensuring full transparency and effective oversight.Regulatory Submissions: Complete and submit monthly Client Asset Reports (MCAR) and ensure the PSIL Insolvency Pack is up to date with relevant regulations.Governance: Attend the Client Asset Council (CAC), overseeing adherence to the CBI Client Asset Requirements in accordance with the council’s terms of reference.Collaboration: Contribute to regional councils, committees, and local boards, providing constructive challenge, informed debate, and support for governance processes.Required Qualifications & SkillsStrong understanding of the financial services industry, with a focus on regulatory and operational compliance.In-depth knowledge of CBI rules and regulations related to client assets and market practices.Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams and ensuring effective governance.Experience in a senior role overseeing client asset functions or similar compliance areas in a regulated environment.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and concise reports to senior leadership and committees.Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive oversight framework that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.Preferred ExperienceExperience working with or within regulated financial institutions, particularly in client asset oversight or similar roles.Knowledge of the Central Bank of Ireland’s regulatory requirements and the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR).A deep understanding of governance frameworks and the ability to implement effective governance practices.If you are interested in making this position yours, please contact Anthony, or/and click apply belowSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and Finance
