School Age Mental Health Worker
Job Title: School Age Mental Health Worker Reporting To: Coordinator of Youth and Afterschool Services and CEO through the Voluntary Board of Management.
This will be achieved by delivering evidence-informed therapeutic supports, embedding trauma-informed practices across children’s services and supporting parent-child relationships.
The following are some key responsibilities for this role:
1. Mental Health Supports:
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health needs based on a child's ability to participate in society, their future work opportunities, or desired careers.

The worker also offers ongoing support, linking parents with appropriate local services like individual therapy sessions at designated centers where trained therapists provide structured activities aimed specifically towards improving overall well-being amongst all parties involved [i]hereafter referred[/i].
