Like all SGS personnel, they are committed to upholding stringent technical and GMP standards, ensuring the safety of medications for the multitude of patients relying on the products we test.Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QC Analyst to join our growing Scientific In-sourcing team.Job DescriptionMain Purpose of RoleTesting pharmaceutical substances such as raw materials and drug substances in a GMP environment according to clients' procedures and quality systems. The focus will be on GC and HPLC analysis, along with other analytical techniques as needed.Key AccountabilitiesReceive training from SGS and clients on relevant analytical techniques.Train other analysts as qualified.Perform testing in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate regularly.Manage inventory and materials for analysis.Verify and review results from other analysts when qualified.Ensure accurate data entry into LIMS.Assess testing results and close out batch analyses.Meet target dates; update and communicate testing status.Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping.Document work accurately (SOPs, reports, etc.).Work collaboratively to meet customer expectations and KPIs.Document atypical results and investigations.Lead investigations and deviations when required.Maintain a safe, audit-ready working environment.Implement safety, environmental, and quality improvements.Support self-development and career progression.Adopt safe working behaviors and comply with policies.Uphold SGS Ireland’s policies on integrity, equality, and diversity.QualificationsScience Degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Level 7 minimum).At least 2 years of GMP laboratory experience.Knowledge of Data Integrity and analytical technologies (HPLC, GC, KF, IR, PSD, X-ray, Wet chemistry).Team-oriented with a customer service focus.High standards for quality and safety.Proficiency with lab computer systems, including LIMS and Trackwise.Additional InformationWe offer:An opportunity for international career development in a friendly, supportive environment with ongoing training and career growth opportunities across SGS.An attractive compensation and benefits package.
