Summary: Our client, a pharmaceutical company in Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile Scrum processes within cross-functional teams responsible for software development, digital transformation, or process improvement projects. This candidate will ensure Agile practices are effectively applied while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant solutions. The successful candidate will support validation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives critical to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsibilities: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies (demo, redemo, discussions). Guide teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices tailored to regulated pharmaceutical environments. Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized, compliant backlog aligned with business and regulatory needs. Track sprint progress, velocity, and deliverables; review planners, update task status, and provide transparent reporting to leadership. Identify, remove, and resolve blockers and queries impacting sprint teams; highlight risks and issues to leadership. Support sprint teams in project execution and ensure attendance tracking is maintained. Foster effective collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, IT, and Operations. Facilitate discussions between sprint teams and external stakeholders (e.g., Emerson, regulatory, or QA groups). Ensure Agile practices align with industry standards, GMP, risk management, and documentation requirements. Promote continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on processes and implement efficiency, compliance, and quality enhancements. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Proven experience managing and supporting digital systems, software platforms, or industrial control systems. Strong technical knowledge of system integration, networking, databases, and cybersecurity principles. Proficiency with relevant digital tools and platforms specific to the industry (e.g., SCADA, MES, ERP, cloud services). Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, cybersecurity certifications) are a plus.
