The Role
We are currently seeking a General Operative to support our HVAC Installation Engineers on-site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in the HVAC or construction industry, gaining hands‑on experience across a range of projects.
You will assist with the installation of HVAC systems while working as part of a skilled and supportive team, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Assist HVAC Engineers with the installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems
Support with general site duties including lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment and materials
Assist with pipework, bracket installation, basic cabling and other mechanical tasks under supervision
Prepare tools, materials and work areas to ensure efficient installation work
Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site at all times
Follow health and safety procedures and site requirements
Work collaboratively with engineers, site managers and other trades on‑site
Learn and develop skills in HVAC installation with a view to progressing in the role
What We Look For
Previous experience in construction, general labouring or a similar hands‑on role
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions Good awareness of health and safety on construction sites
Physically fit and comfortable working in a site‑based environment
Desirable
Interest in pursuing a career in HVAC or mechanical trades
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or mechanical work
Full, clean Irish driving licence
