Safety, Environmental & Quality Advisor. - Whitegate Cork Our client, a well-known power and energy contractor, has a unique opportunity for a Safety Advisor for a refinery project in Cork. You will play a vital role in assisting in maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and to ensure continued compliance with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 9001.Day to Day Duties:Carrying out inductions and producing monthly statisticsChampion Culture Development Programme (behaviour-based safety programme)Carry out and document site audits and inspections.Keeping up to date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and construction industry guidance.Ensuring personnel on site have the pre-requisite training records.Investigating, logging, and monitoring of Incidents and Non-conformancesCompleting all necessary report formsIdentifying significant safety impacts for work areas and helping set-up of appropriate controlsEnsure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily available.Prepare and present toolbox talks as and when required.Prepare and present at monthly safety meetings.To Be Considered:Higher Diploma in Health & SafetyMinimum of 3 years relevant experience on mechanical projects.Experience on live gas stations / terminals is highly advantageous.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams.Good written and spoken communication abilities.Good IT skills with a high attention to detailA flexible and proactive approachBenefits & Next StepsAbove average leaveDiscretionary annual bonus and annual salary reviewAbove market rate contributory pension schemePermanent roleAvailable nowFor more information on this role call To apply send an updated resume to Sponsorship not available must have full working rights and live locally.Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Construction and Building Construction
