This position can be based in any Ohio office as a hybrid role, collaborating with team members in other locations.
As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team shaping community futures. The role involves leading design projects in water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection, managing project scope, schedule, budgets, and providing technical guidance to engineers and staff. You will work on innovative projects that positively impact society.
Responsibilities:
* Lead design efforts for water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection projects from planning through design phases.
* Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
* Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications.
* Develop project cost estimates and schedules.
* Supervise and provide technical direction to design engineers and staff.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
* Oversee CAD staff work and interactions with regulatory agencies.
* Support or lead proposal development and client pursuits.
* Manage client relationships and business development activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
* 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater planning, design, and construction, with leadership roles.
* Current PE license in Ohio is required.
* Experience working with municipal and private clients.
* Knowledge of funding opportunities and regulatory compliance.
* Strong leadership skills, including project delivery management and mentoring.
* Excellent technical expertise in water/wastewater treatment and distribution.
