About the Role
* We are seeking an experienced procurement professional who has managed complex acquisitions, negotiated contracts, and worked in a multi-function team environment.
You should have effective conflict management skills, understanding of industry trends in contracting and supplier management practices, and strong sourcing skills and experience.
Analytical skills, understanding of MS Office tools & Apttus, and strong communication and presentation skills are also required. You'll need to be able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities, and have a solid customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Negotiation: Manage negotiation of contract terms including pricing and volume discounts.
Paperwork Management: Handle both routine and complex paperwork inclusive of negotiating contracts related to purchasing solutions.
Team Collaboration: Interact with alternate legal service team and Prudential's lawyers during contracting.
Sourcing Process: Assist with sourcing process including acquisition of IT & non-IT solutions. Assist with the execution of enterprise-wide purchasing programs for the technology unit.
Your Background
A degree in a relevant field is desired but not necessary. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. They will also have strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
