About the Role
The Finn Valley CE Project is recruiting a Sales Assistant to support the community‑based charity shop in the Finn Valley area. This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience, contribute to the local community and access training to progress into further employment.
Key Duties
* Provide excellent customer service to all visitors
* Operate the till and handle cash accurately
* Sort, price, and display donated items
* Keep the shop clean, tidy, and well‑presented
* Support volunteers and work as part of a team
* Promote the charity's mission and values
Eligibility
* Aged 21 or over
* In receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for at least 12 months, or be a qualifying adult on a claim
* Meet Community Employment scheme eligibility criteria (your local Intreo office can verify)
Training Provided
Participants will undertake certified and on‑the‑job training to enhance skills and future employment prospects.
