Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Social Care Worker based in Dublin. The Social Care Worker will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, fostering their independence and ensuring their well-being. Daily tasks include implementing person centered plans, organising and participating in activities, maintaining accurate records, and promoting a safe, inclusive environment. The role requires collaboration with colleagues, families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for those supported.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in personal support, caregiving, and fostering independence
* Experience in planning and implementing care programs and activities
* Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
* Problem-solving and organizational skills
* Knowledge of disability services, health, and safety protocols; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
* CORU registration
* Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in Social Care, Psychology, or a related field
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
