Job Description:
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific Information Technology programs or projects within the Quality Assurance & Reg Affairs (QARA) and Global Supply Chain areas.
Principal Responsibilities:
Planning
1. Develop information technology strategies to align with company objectives and goals.
2. Initiate new project requests, analyzing possible solutions, defining scope, planning resources, costs, and schedules.
3. Drive the alignment of IT strategy with the objectives of the QARA and Global Supply Chain teams.
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders in QARA and Global Supply Chain, system integrators, and internal Teleflex teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
5. Drive standardization and consistency of QARA and Global Supply Chain processes and solutions.
6. Partner with QARA and Global Supply Chain program management in planning scope, schedule, resources, and costs.
7. Develop requests for proposals (RFPs) for external services.
Execution
1. Lead project teams in analyzing, designing, implementing, and developing information systems.
2. Manage relationships with relevant external consultants, vendors, and system integrators.
3. Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements.
4. Champion change management activities, negotiate agreements, and commitments.
Control
1. Oversight of all IT projects within the assigned function.
2. Monitor progress and evaluate program and project performance on a regular basis.
3. Ensure adherence to all relevant IT policies, procedures, and computer systems validation standards.
4. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers.
5. Monitor and manage program and project risks, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and opportunities.
6. Collaborate with project managers and business owners to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
7. Liaise with PMO, program sponsor, and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Team Leadership
1. Manage resource assignments and priorities, working with other functional managers to coordinate assignments to projects and other deliverables while dealing with changing priorities.
2. Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo and fosters teamwork.
3. Develop, motivate, and direct IT team members and foster a team environment.

Education / Experience Requirements:
1. A proven track record of leading, designing, and executing significant programs of business process and IT systems reengineering and change within the Global Supply Chain or QARA areas.
2. Extensive experience in applying structured project management and systems development methodologies to deliver business change.
3. Business acumen and experience within the IT, Global Supply Chain, and QARA functions.
4. The ability to bring best practice experience to Teleflex.
5. Experience of building relationships with executive and senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives.
7. Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels, and geographies.
8. The ability to prioritize and manage several projects and customers simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication skills.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements:
1. Six Sigma or other Business Process Mapping certification.
2. Professional Project Management certification.
3. PLM, eQMS, or SAP implementation experience, preferably from a business analyst or IT support discipline.
4. Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation.
5. Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry experience, including implementation of Corrective Action Preventive Action initiatives.
