Job Title:
Business Unit Director

Reporting to:
Managing Director

Role Overview
The purpose of the Business Unit Director role is to manage and grow the business in line with the Strategic Plan and agreed KPIs.

Responsibilities

* Develop a Strategic Plan for the Business Unit.
* Prepare monthly Management Accounts for the Business Unit.
* Provide operational oversight across the entire Business Unit.
* Provide leadership, promote team spirit, and encourage effective collaboration.
* Set and monitor service standards to ensure the delivery of premium service to all customers.
* Conduct regular reviews and annual appraisals of the team.
* Ensure all services provided are in line with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
* Identify training needs and ensure regular training is provided to improve service delivery continually.
* Prepare monthly service reviews for the Managing Director.
* Vet, approve, and manage subcontractors.
* Manage relationships with key operational vendors, including monitoring pricing, rebates, and service levels to ensure optimal performance.
* Attend customer review meetings with key clients.
* Manage and oversee specific product ranges within the portfolio.
* Drive innovation by identifying new products and services to enhance client experience.

The post holder is expected to be aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety policy, taking all possible steps to ensure a safe working environment, and reporting any incidents or potential hazards to the Managing Director. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times in the course of work.

Key Qualifications

* Proven track record in a senior management role.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Financial acumen with experience in revenue generation, budget management, and financial accountability.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt and navigate complex situations.
