Please note this role is in our Chill Warehouse.
What youll be doing: The key responsibilities of this position include: Work effectively with the management team.
Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to promote, proactively engage and ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all employees.
To assist in the management of the warehouse operation, to maintain the required service levels to our retailers, within budgetary constraints and operational KPI targets.
Direct and motivate warehouse employees on meeting operational goals in an environment where customer satisfaction is critical.
Support the delivery of the engagement framework through the engagement tools to create high performing teams, continuous improvement and a high performing culture.
Manage and lead a team to ensure that they have the skill sets, resources and support needed to deliver in their role and achieve objectives, and that they operate in a manner consistent with the ethos and values of the organisation What were looking for: Experience, skills and education: The successful candidate will possess all or most of the following: Knowledge and experience in a similar role, at a minimum step-up line manager.
Experience required, be able to show experience having worked in a team or project that demonstrated the above skills particularly.
Excellent management & team performance skills with the ability to work successfully with both management and warehouse teams.
The ability to identify and solve problems through their own initiative and by communicating with others.
Can engage and support a harmonious environment at all levels.
Knowledge of distribution operational systems and knowledge of specific processes in relation to H & S and HACCP etc.
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
The ideal candidate should be a team player, be flexible and be able to maintain composure and focus whilst under pressure.
You should be self- motivated and have the work discipline to attend to all the assigned management duties.
