Be a key player in driving sales and customer satisfaction in our store, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver an excellent shopping experience.


About the Role

We are seeking a talented retail professional to join our team as a Duty Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing sales performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

* Sales and Availability

Maintain availability of all products on the shop floor, ensuring stock levels are optimal at all times.

* Customer Service

Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with promptly and effectively, providing a positive shopping experience.

* Staffing and Operations

Manage staffing levels to meet business needs, prepare daily task boards, and drive the team's knowledge of top-selling items and departmental stock loss.

* Cash Handling and Security

Ensure adherence to company cash and stock handling procedures, conducting regular spot checks on all tills.


Requirements:

* Proven Retail Management Experience

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, demonstrating operational, leadership, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

* Target-Driven and Customer-Focused

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious, and self-starting, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

* Excellent Microsoft Office Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential for success in this role.
