Join Our Team as a Pension Technical Specialist
We're looking for a dedicated Pension Technical Specialist to join our Customer team. In this role, you'll ensure pension knowledge priority and is used to help shape the future of our pension services.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and ensure all client reports produced by the Advice Support Unit (ASU) are compliant, prioritising customer interests and upholding integrity.
* Investigate queries from advisors, ASU, and Sales Excellence, providing thorough and accurate responses.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with advisors.
* Facilitate training for new advisors and ASU paraplanners.
* Stay up to date with changes in legislation and share knowledge across relevant groups.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum QFA (RPA qualification desirable).
* At least 3 years' experience in a pensions consultancy, advisory, or brokerage role.
* Deep understanding of pensions legislation and the regulatory environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of customer financial advice.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Diligent, proactive, and a "can-do" attitude.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence effectively.
* Ability to build and deliver engaging presentations.
* Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced, changeable environment.

Fitness & Probity
This role falls under the MCC, and it is a 'controlled function' (CF4) as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Appointing a successful candidate will be conditional on the company completing prescribed due diligence to assess the appointee's fitness and probity to meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
