Job Title: Volunteer Administrative (Admin) Executive Organisation: Brazil-Ireland Association (BRIA) Location: Remote (Ireland-based preferred) Time Commitment: 3 hours per week (volunteer role) About BRIA The Brazil-Ireland Association (BRIA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Brazilian professionals in Ireland.
We help individuals navigate the Irish job market, enhance their career prospects, and integrate into professional networks through support, resources, and development opportunities.
Our mission is to strengthen the professional profile of the Brazilian community while fostering cultural and professional integration.
Role Overview We are looking for a Volunteer Administrative (Admin) Executive to support the daily operations of BRIA.
The Admin Executive will play a key role in helping our committees stay organised, managing essential documentation, and ensuring smooth communication across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain administrative experience in a structured, multicultural, and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and organisation of internal documents, reports, and meeting notes.
Support scheduling and coordination of meetings for BRIA's committees and Board.
Maintain and organise BRIA's digital filing system (e.g., Google Drive).
Ensure proper documentation of attendance, meeting minutes, and action items.
Assist with email correspondence, follow-ups, and reminders to volunteers.
Work closely with the Admin and Executive Leadership Committees to ensure alignment with BRIA's governance standards.
Requirements Strong organisational and communication skills.
Basic experience or interest in administrative tasks (professional or volunteer).
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively (3 hours per week).
Fluency in Portuguese and/or English (both preferred).
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a growing non-profit organisation.
