Technical Support Advisor – Dublin 2 | Full-time, Hybrid
I am hiring for a Technical Support Advisor to provide IT support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT requests, and helping maintain secure, efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. First- and second-level IT support (Windows, MS, core applications, hardware, and workplace tech)
2. User account administration and access management
3. Patching, upgrades, backups, and security maintenance
4. Troubleshooting connectivity, OS, software, and hardware issues
5. Providing ad-hoc user training and guidance
6. Collaborating with IT teams and vendors on projects and problem resolution
Requirements:
7. Experience with Windows 10/11, Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, and basic networking
8. Familiarity with MDM solutions, endpoint protection, backup systems, Citrix/Terminal services
9. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
10. Third-level IT qualification or relevant certifications (MCSA, CompTIA A+/Network+)
11. Experience in financial services/insurance is a plus
