The International Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the payroll function across multiple business units within the organization.
This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant regulations, and continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the International Payroll Manager will lead a team of payroll specialists and collaborate with HR, Finance and other departments to deliver exceptional payroll services.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based in our Dublin or Cork Offices.
Responsibilities Responsible for international payrolls including outsourced payroll activities, payroll accounting, while delivering consistent and accurate payrolls in a timely manner Review and validate payroll calculations and payroll outputs, including payslips, tax filings and social security contributions Collaborate with HR on all aspects of payroll, including BIK, share awards, pensions, and statutory deductions Maintain payroll accuracy in line with agreed key performance indicators Monitor and report on payroll costs and variances Coordinating international payroll processes Actively manage the escalation of payroll issues with outsourced payroll provider Meet all regulatory, tax, compliance, internal and external filings, third-party payments and reporting requirements on a monthly and annual basis Assist with Internal and External Audit payroll related audit request Provide relevant data to the wider HR Team in conjunction with the delivery of regulatory compliance reporting: i.e.
Gender Pay Gap Lead, mentor and develop the payroll team, providing training and support to ensure high performance Provide support and input on payroll related projects Conducting payroll reconciliations Qualifications Previous experience running large payroll (+1000 employees) Experience managing multiple international payrolls (min 5 years plus), ideally within EMEA IPASS qualification desirable Attentiveness to accuracy and detail, with strong numeracy skills Highest levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion Excellent IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications with strong excel and data management experience Ability to multi-task / manage time efficiently Ability to be flexible and work in accordance with organisational requirements as necessitated by the needs of the business An ability to develop, build and maintain credible and effective working relationships with managers and other key stakeholders Why PM Group?
