Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Product Counsel to join our team, specializing in the development and commercialization of cryptocurrency, stablecoin, and traditional fiat money movement products. As a key advisor to our product, engineering, and partnerships teams, you will navigate complex legal issues at the intersection of technology innovation and financial services compliance.
The ideal candidate has around 5-10 years of experience as a qualified lawyer with expertise in payment services legislation and anti-money laundering regulations. They should also possess direct experience advising on cryptocurrency, stablecoin, and/or cross-border money movement products globally.
Responsibilities include helping Stripe deliver compliant products worldwide while working closely with colleagues across global legal teams to support regulatory structure customer agreements strategic financial partnerships and other initiatives.
