Deputy Social Care Leader
The role of Deputy Social Care Leader is a senior position within an esteemed organisation, supporting the Head of Department and guiding a team to uphold high standards of care and compliance.
* Collaborate with the Head of Department in managing daily operations of designated facilities.
* Mentor and supervise staff, promoting reflective practice and accountability.
* Ensure adherence to HIQA, the Health Act 2007, and relevant legislation.
* Promote person-centred planning, dignity, and inclusion.
* Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Assume responsibilities for the Head of Department when required, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Key Requirements
* A Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care (CORU-approved) or related fields such as Social Work, Psychology, Youth & Community Work, or Nursing.
* A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in disability or social care, including supervisory experience.
* Knowledge of HIQA Standards, Children First Act 2015, Disability Act 2005, and GDPR regulations.
