Our company is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Financial Controller and performing a variety of accounting duties.
Job Description:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be involved in a range of activities including raising invoices, issuing payment claims to customers, and processing certificates. You will also be responsible for updating databases with relevant information, preparing debtors reports, and reconciling accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar environment
* Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
* Excellent accounting and numerical skills
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Excel formulas
* Good working knowledge of the Sage 50 accounting package
* Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
