There is currently 1 specified purpose, whole-time vacancy available in MSK Triage Physiotherapy Service.
To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation. The CS Physiotherapist will be responsible for the provision of a high-quality Physiotherapy service and will carry out clinical and educational duties as required in accordance with standards of professional practice.
The salary scale for the post is: (01/08/2025)

Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapist Register maintained by the Physiotherapist Registration Board at CORU. See attached link for current approved Physiotherapy qualifications:
If you are a section 91 candidate, please note:
Individuals who qualified before the 30th September 2018 and are registered or have applied for registration under section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act, 2005, must hold a Physiotherapy Qualification approved by CORU in order to be eligible to apply. The list of approved qualifications under the section 91 route can be accessed on the attached link:
Section 91 candidates are individuals who qualified before the 30th September 2018 and have been engaged in the practice of the profession in the Republic of Ireland for a minimum of two years full time (or an aggregate of two years full time) between 1st October 2016 and 30th September 2018 are considered to be Section 91 Applicants under the Health and Social Care Professionals Act, 2005
AND
Candidates must have five years full time [or an aggregate of five years full time] post qualification clinical experience; of which four years full time (or an aggregate of four years) post registration qualification clinical experience must be in the required area of specialism.
AND
Demonstrate a proven record of clinical excellence in the specialism.
AND
Candidates must demonstrate achievement in the areas of clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching and research.
AND
Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the required area of specialism, in the form of post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses.
AND
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
AND
Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership & professional ability), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
1. Annual Registration
On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
AND
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC)
1. Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
1. Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
Post specific requirements:
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as relevant to the role.
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the areas of clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching and research.
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in continuous professional development relevant to the required area of specialism.
