About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IB Programme Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, implementing, leading, and evaluating all aspects of the IB Programme.

Main Responsibilities:

* Coordinating diploma administration, curriculum, professional development, resource management, and communication.
">
* Maintaining complete and accurate programme records.
">
* Administering extended essay procedures.
">
* Evaluating internal assessment in all subjects and IBO procedures.
">
* Organizing secure examination procedures.
">
* Informing students of IBO services.
">
* Updating reports required by IBO and filing according to deadlines.
">
* Reviewing and submitting course syllabuses for courses that will be offered.
">
* Identifying and coordinating professional development of teachers in the diploma programme.
">
* Recruiting students to the IB programme and scheduling community meetings.
">
* Meeting with students and parents about curriculum expectations.
">
* Reviewing applications and essays for admissions.
">
* Conducting transcript audits and summer workshops for programme candidates.
">

Requirements:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
">
* A valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
">
* Must meet Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements or a willingness to meet the requirements within the designated timeframe.
">
* IB DP Program Training preferred.
