We are seeking a highly organised, upbeat and events-obsessed Event & Operations Catering Manager to help us deliver exceptional hospitality across a variety of settings. A FULL clean Irish/EU Drivers Licence is required for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Catering ManagementLead and manage food events of all sizes — private in-home parties, weddings, corporate receptions, tech-company canapé parties, tastings, launches, private in-home dinner parties and more.Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, kitchen and office regarding run-of-show, service requirements, logistics, and event flow.Oversee catering hire, equipment lists, deliveries, collections and supplier coordination.Operations & LogisticsBuild clear logistics plans for each event, ensuring all resources, hire, staffing and timelines are aligned.Manage van loading plans, checklists, kitchen prep schedules and event pack-outs.Maintain stock levels of catering supplies, serviceware and event essentials.Staff Management & LeadershipRecruit, book, train and mentor a young, enthusiastic waiting team.Schedule and manage all casual staff and working event groupsDeliver training in service standards, guest interaction, food knowledge and event etiquette.Confidently delegate tasks and lead teams on-site to deliver seamless events.Client ExperienceMaintain excellent communication with clients, kitchen team and staff before, during and after events.Represent the brand with professionalism, warmth and a calm, solutions-focused attitude.Ensure every event delivers exceptional service and thoughtful touches.RequirementsHighly organised, energetic, and deeply passionate about all things food, service & events.Experience in catering, hospitality operations or banqueting is essential.Strong logistical mindset — you love planning, structuring, anticipating and problem-solving.A genuine love of food and working with high-quality ingredients.Excellent communication and people skills.Full clean EU driver's licence required.Proficient in Excel, Word, social media and Canva.Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.Comfortable with flexible scheduling: some evenings and Saturdays are required.What We OfferA creative, supportive boutique catering environment where ideas are welcomed.Beautifully varied work — no two weeks look the same.Opportunities for growth across events, operations, logistics and leadership.A chance to be part of a highly respected award winning catering team with exceptional food at its core.Job Type: Full-timePay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Hospitality: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:clean driving licence in Ireland (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
