Are you passionate about supporting the early childhood development of children? We are seeking a Childcare Worker to join our dedicated team at St Joseph's Childcare Centre, Waterford.
The Job
This is a full-time Specific Purpose contract (37.5 hours per week) that involves providing high-quality care and education while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
* Work closely with Senior Childcare Workers, Managers, and other team members to support individual children and promote their overall well-being.
* Assist in planning and implementing stimulating activities that foster each child's natural development.
In this role, you will be working in line with Siolta, the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education, and Aistear, the National Curriculum Framework.
Responsibilities also include:

* Supporting the daily needs of the children in your care, including feeding, sleeping, and hygiene routines.
* Encouraging children to explore and learn through play, based on their interests and abilities.
* Monitoring children's progress and reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff members.
* Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in childcare and education.
