Construction is and will be delivered by its own team and resources.RoleWe are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Kildare. As Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the construction and delivery phases, ensuring the company's ongoing success in securing and delivering projects. You will report directly to the Project Manager and Construction Director.ResponsibilitiesReceive, check, interpret, and monitor contract plans, design drawings, and/or quantities relevant to the works on a given project, and use these to plan and set out construction activities on site.Record survey and topographical information on an ongoing basis on a given project, and compile drawings in AutoCAD format for as-builts, valuation surveys.Interpret contract design documents from the design team, architect, civil, and structural engineers; monitor all design drawings to ensure all works are installed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.Monitor and evaluate quality control for sub-contractor's work in accordance with Irish Water & ESB codes of practice. Maintain the Irish Water site file and liaise with the field engineer on an ongoing basis.Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the project workforce.Conduct setting out using instruments chosen by the company.Report work progress to the Project Manager, addressing issues and providing technical guidance.Manage quality and coordinate BCAR compliance.Adhere to planning, health and safety, and environmental standards.Provide weekly and monthly reports to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.Attend meetings and undertake site visits.Experience & Skills4+ years' experience in a similar role.Third level qualification in engineering or related field.Residential construction experience preferred.Experience in timber frame and traditional building projects.Proficiency in use of Engineers Level, EDM/Total Station.Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.Full driving license.Positive, can-do attitude, meticulous attention to detail, collaborative team player.Strong IT skills with competency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Benefits PackageCompetitive Salary - DOEExcellent Benefits PackageJoin Quantum Homes and be a part of a team that's dedicated to innovation, excellence, and community building.
