AtkinsRealis is one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking to recruit a Field Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience in the Site Supervision activities for a position within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide).

Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on a number of capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Candidates with suitable experience and interested in similar positions elsewhere nationally can also apply and will be considered for future positions if/when they arise.

Responsibilities:

* Driving delivery of a programme of projects across a wide geographical area on behalf of Uisce Éireann with a particular focus on health & safety, the time for delivery, cost management and ensuring that the project is constructed to the specified quality standard.
* Ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents (works requirements).
* Ensuring that all materials incorporated into the permanent work, and all workmanship are executed in accordance with the applicable specification as set out in the works requirements and that required testing is carried out.
* Monitoring and reporting on works being carried out to the Employer’s Requirements.
* Ensuring that the employer’s representative, the relevant project manager and Uisce Éireann are fully informed of all issues arising on site.
* Implementing Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on the construction projects.
* Reviewing and commenting on project/site specific HSQE documentation eg RAMS, TMP etc.
* Monitoring compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractor’s Proposals.
* Carry out weekly documented healthand safety site reviews, follow up and confirm satisfactory close out of health and safety issues.
* Ensuring that any accident or incident on site, no matter how minor, is reported to Uisce.
* Éireann and actively assist with the accident investigation and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
* Actively participating in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections and confirming satisfactoryclose out of any issues identified.
