Your new role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring technical compliance, and leading a team of engineers and subcontractors to meet project milestones. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive leader with strong technical acumen and a passion for excellence in construction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
2. Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
3. Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Interpret technical drawings and provide guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
5. Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
6. Resolve technical issues and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.
7. Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
9. Minimum of 7 years' experience in site engineering within the construction industry.
10. Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
11. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory standards.
12. Proficient in project management software and CAD tools.
13. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
14. Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer status) is an advantage.
