Overview:
Our client, a Irish-headquartered organisation undergoing sustained growth is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their International Finance Team based in Limerick.
The role will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider International Finance Team also based in Limerick. This is an excellent role for someone looking to join a company undergoing sustained growth globally and who is looking to progress their career as there will be excellent promotion/progression opportunities.
The person will ideally be Big 4/Top 10 trained with some previous Industry experience. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) with excellent salary, bonus, pension and healthcare.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple jurisdictions, including variance analysis against prior periods.
* Perform month-end close duties including journal postings
* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
* Perform account reconciliations and investigate/resolve discrepancies.
* Support the annual audit process under FRS102, along with multiple jurisdiction subsidiaries
* Liaise with 3rd party providers in multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with local reporting requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
* Ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
* Strong financial analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach towards business issues.
* Proficiency in SAP B1 is desirable
* Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
