About the Company
Working alongside a reputable Building and Fit Out Contractor with 50+ years' experience delivering high quality projects for a diverse range of clients including HSE, Education Board and boutique brands.
Their established commercial team requires an experience estimator to come in with a hands-on approach to new projects – this is a new role within the company to accommodate their very busy pipeline.
My client is open to chatting to Estimators from Intermediate to Senior Level with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Leinster Market.
Applicants must have general building experience – new build projects include to include all packages through to fit out.
The Role
- To provide estimating expertise and leadership to compile a compliant tender bid.
- Work with operational teams to establish programme and prelim elements as well as agreeing early win strategies to enhance win rate.
- Your primary function will include engaging new and existing supply chain members to ensure best market quotations.
- Daily duties include diligently maintaining good progress to meet tender deadlines
- To carry out a high-level tender review of tender documentation and prepare summary reports
- To review contract tender information and identify incomplete elements and request details from the client through a TQ process.
- To liaise with Operations Teams to ensure that all safety and environmental matters have been considered within our bid. Reporting;
- Provide weekly general update to Senior Management
- Ensure adequate records are kept of relevant matters.
- Provider analysis reports on subcontractors
- Maintain win rate ratios and feedback to Senior Management
Requirements
- You will have 3+ years' experience
- Good experience using the conquest estimating software.
- You will have a construction related 3rd Level qualification.
- You will have strong computer / excel skills
