Job Title: Director of Construction
Location: East Coast, Ireland
Overview:
Archerus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead all construction operations for a €60m turnover contractor/developer based on the East Coast of Ireland. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Directors and will be central to the business’s continued growth and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all active construction sites.
Drive programme, quality, safety, and cost performance across multiple projects.
Lead and mentor a team of Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and Site Teams.
Oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
Ensure best-in-class construction practices are embedded throughout the business.
Collaborate with commercial, planning, and design teams to deliver consistent outcomes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior construction leadership role.
Extensive track record delivering large-scale residential developments in Ireland or the UK.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage resources, budgets, and risk.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar discipline.
