Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage and oversee cost control for a full range of civil engineering and electrical projects.
The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget, and all aspects of procurement and cost management comply with state regulations and standards.
You will bee working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, Framework Owners and other design professionals, clients and contractors.

Responsibilities
11. Managing project costs across all phases, including preparing estimates, bills of quantities, managing contractor payments, assessing variations, and finalizing accounts.
12. Preparing Framework Tender Documentation and participating in pre-qualification and tender evaluations, in collaboration with the Procurement team.
13. Conducting site evaluations, commercial audits, and delivering commercial awareness training to site personnel and project teams.
14. Analyzing data from past projects and work programs to facilitate lessons learned and provide budgeting insights for future initiatives.
15. Monitoring and forecasting both OPEX and CAPEX programs.
16. Advocating for a strong safety culture across all activities, with a visible commitment to safety management.
17. Ensuring adherence to Quality Procedures on all projects.
18. Supporting the professional development and mentoring of junior staff.
19. Leading tender assessments, evaluations, and negotiations.
20. Producing and interpreting reports for stakeholders.
21. Assisting in the mentoring and development of junior team members.
Requirements
22. A Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
23. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying.
24. Self-driven with strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with colleagues.
25. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, applying both logical reasoning and creative problem-solving.
26. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration.
27. Commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
28. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong report writing abilities.
29. A proven track record of being results-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction.
30. Flexible approach to work, including the willingness to travel nationwide when required.
31. Solid knowledge of administering major contract conditions such as FIDIC, GCCC, NECC, or similar.
32. A full, clean EU driving license with access to a car.
